Gresham Travel Guide
Welcome to Gresham!
Gresham, nicknamed the City of Music, is a regional cultural center near Portland. Among other events, it plays host to the annual Mount Hood Jazz Festival, which attracts thousands of concertgoers each year for three days of music. The fourth largest city in Oregon, Gresham also offers guests a varied choice of accommodations, shops and restaurants that cater to travelers. Outdoor activities are popular in Gresham with hiking, biking and rafting facilities throughout the area. The Nadaka Loop Trail runs through 10 acres of land in the city. Day excursions to the nearby Columbia River Gorge and the city of Portland are easily arranged. The Columbia Gorge is known as a haven for windsurfers, and visitors are likely to see enthusiasts skimming the water during the warmer months. Winter beckons both cross-country and downhill skiers as well as snowmobilers to the recreation areas located in the Mount Hood area.
